Ising Machines

Quantum-Inspired Speed for Today's Hardest Problems

Presentation
Complex Optimization is a Multi-Billion Dollar Bottleneck
Classical Computing: Too Slow

For NP-hard problems in logistics, finance, and drug discovery, finding the optimal solution can take days or weeks. Companies settle for "good enough," leaving billions in efficiency on the table.

Quantum Computers: Too Early

True quantum computers require cryogenic cooling, are plagued by noise, and have sparse connectivity. They are research tools, not production-ready workhorses for enterprise.

Specialized Hardware: Too Niche

Approaches like photonics-based machines can be powerful but are often tailored for specific, dense problems and lack the flexibility for broad, practical adoption.

The Best of Both Worlds: Practical Digital Annealing

We build quantum-inspired hardware and software that delivers massive speedups on optimization problems, using practical, room-temperature digital electronics.

Hardware: Ising++

High-performance quantum-inspired digital annealing hardware for massive optimization speedups.

Software: q-anneal

Intelligent hybrid solver integrating classical and quantum-inspired algorithms for seamless deployment.

We Turn Hard Problems into Simple Physics
Map

The q-anneal software translates a complex business problem into an Ising model, visualized as an 'energy landscape'. The lowest point represents the optimal solution.

Solve

The Ising++ hardware, a massively parallel digital architecture, physically represents this landscape. It naturally and rapidly 'relaxes' to its lowest energy state, finding the optimal solution in microseconds.

Deliver

The optimal state is read out from the hardware and translated back into a business-ready answer by the q-anneal software.

A Fully Integrated Hardware & Software Platform
Ising++: The Hardware Engine

A purpose-built digital annealer based on FPGA technology. It functions as a hardware-accelerated simulated annealer, designed for extreme speed and parallelism on Ising-formulated problems. It operates at room temperature with standard power and cooling.

q-anneal: The Intelligent Solver

More than just a problem mapper, q-anneal is a powerful hybrid solver. It integrates our Ising++ engine with best-in-class classical solvers (e.g., MILP libraries) to form a 'portfolio solver'. It automatically selects the best engine or combination of engines for any given problem.

A $30B+ Market Ripe for Disruption

The Total Addressable Market for high-performance computing in AI, logistics, finance, and pharma is massive and growing. We are initially targeting a wedge of this market where classical methods are too slow and quantum is not yet viable.

From Prototype to Product in 60 Days
1
Phase 1: Days 1-20

Hardware Finalization & Assembly

Finalize FPGA architecture, procure all components (FPGAs, PCBs, server chassis), and complete board-level assembly of the first Ising++ unit.

2
Phase 2: Days 21-45

Core Solver Integration

Implement high-speed simulated annealing dynamics in FPGA logic. Develop the PCIe/AXI-lite host interface. Build the core 'q-anneal' API layer to accept and manage QUBO problem formats.
